I have everything anyone would need to be happy in their life yet I'm depressed. I struggle to get out of bed each day. I feel like a loser for not having any motivation to care anymore. I have tried accepting myself for where I am on my mental health journey. I know I'm not the only one feeling the way I do.

I can totally emmpathize with you! Have you tried many medications? Sometimes its a matter of which one benefits you. There are a lot of them and it can be tedious finding what works for you. It's well worth it though.

Depression is an illness of the brain. Chemicals in our. Rain get depleted in depression and it takes time to build them back. Antidepressants help, therapy and acceptance that we can’ force ourselves to get out of our depressions any sooner. We didn’t cause this disease, can’t control it and can’t fix it. Getting out of bed and washing your face is a start. Give yourself credit for what you do and start one step at a time. Get a good therapist if you don’t have one. Praying for you. regalpurple?
