Thank you Gillyflower18 for the beautiful scenery. All those hot humid days made

beautiful by the rains. Everything green and blooming once more. Just as we can

regain our beauty within ourselves, by not fighting the difficult moments. Sooner

than later, some rain must fall if we want to see sunshine again. :) xx

Here's my favorite daylilly. I just got a new phone and still haven't figured out how to send more than 1 picture at once!πŸ˜‚ it's called Mighty Chestnut.

That's so beautiful. I only have a small backyard but I've filled it with plants and I've got enough space for a small pond.

Here's two of my hanging plants

Fuchsias

So lovely! Double fuchsia. They make great hanging baskets for a partially shady spot. Here we plant them because they are particularly attractive to the Ruby throated hummingbirds. I'm just seeing all these replies as I was off visiting an associates lovely garden yesterday.

Here's a Ruby throat. I know you don't have them in the UK.

Because I like to use all available space( and because my cute but naughty pet rabbit will eat them) I have them in hanging baskets. It woukd be wonderful to have humming birds. I get bees on them .

I haven't taken a photo of the whole garden this year but here's one from a other year. It's still much the same- except no fuchsias.

So pretty! A quiet refuge in a noisy world I bet! We should have a forum on here for gardeners. Gardening has helped me through a lot of difficult times.

Yes, my little sanctuary. It's quiet much of the time, especially at night and it's lovely to to sit out there when the lights come on. Unfortunately it's part of a small terrace of houses so we are close to neighbours. Thankfully they're OK although the little girls next door can get noisy . But they're kids so it's to be expected.

Beautiful, yes everything seems to have gone mad this year with all the rain, and now the sunshine, my jasmine has covered the whole bottom shed and smells devine πŸ‘

That looks fantastic. Sadly the rain hasn't done my flowers much good- the fuchsias have lost a lot of flowers and the geraniums are really poor.

Oh my I wish we could grow it as a perennial here but the winters are too cold. I bet the scent is overwhelming! It's beautiful!
