I have out and out rants (usually one-sided) that last so long I’m exhausted by the time I realize what I’m doing. In the beginning, they weren’t lengthy. I was amazed how many other people talk to themselves. Sometimes it helps to work out a specific problem. Now when I have them, I can realize it’s an indication of stress. Then I try how to deal with the issues and resolve/cope. ...I don’t worry anymore about it. If it causes problems, then I would worry. Until then, enjoy, nobody will be talking back to you.

Aww. I just had a panic attack while I was sleeping and came on to read here aw Thx I have tears in my eyes because. My grades in university are not telling me I’m very bright. But I’m realizing lately I am learning so much anyways. There is a world around us. That someone of us don’t even know about. I know it’s a vague statement hahaha. But I am learning lots but my grades are not very good ahhaha

Might even be a good habit! My therapist asked me if I ever talk without having a listener. Like to get something off my chest. She said that some people find it helpful to record themselves talking, like to their phone, and play it back later. Personally I talk to myself when I am trying to concentrate on something, like a homework problem.

Oh great idea. I should record. Smart.

Let me know if it helps! I have never tried it since talking to digital stuff makes me nervous. 😊
