Hi. It’s shnookie. My stress disability is ending next month and I’ve been sending out applications and working with job counselors. One of the places I work with is the Department of Rehab. My counselor

Saw there was an admin position within the organization and thought it might be a good fit for me and the supervisor liked me and I have a part-time job 3 days a week

minimum wage starting on Tuesday. I’m happy that I’ll be going back to work

but the problem is that I can’t access

the handwriting tool on Adobe to send

my acceptance in I try and try it’s very frustrating so after and an hour and a half I decided to take a break I’ve never been great on the computer I know the basic word and excel but I’m going to need to

Sharpen my computer skills

When I can’t figure something out on the computer my frustration level goes very high I have a 90 day probation to

start with and need to play it cool 😎

Wish me good luck S

Hey Shnookie good luck to you!!! I hope there's someone you can ask some questions to, seems like with computers it's all figure it out for yourself. I'm terrible with computers and I'm probably younger than you. I truly hope this job works out for you, take care.❤️

Hi

Someone always told me to google it. When you do this keep the words simple. I found if I put too many words it would brings up lots of things.

I always like to search for how to YouTube video. I have an app on my phone so when some explains something I can record it. I just let them know it helps me to remember.

If it is company software find that really nice person that will not mind explaining things. Copy others notes if they will let you. Remember to take notes. I go over my notes at home or on lunch. Take it slow do not feel rushed. We are here for you. You will do good! Hope this helps.

Thank U for supportive e-mail. I’ll try out your suggestions. Supposedly they R hiring another guy who is very computer savvy. I don’t want to rely on him as a crutch. Just take notes. Of course I’ll help out if he needs anything. The one thing with a 62

year year young woman like me is that I

Have a lot of work and life experience. Team work is really the best way to work with others. S
