Depression sucks

Hi guys, new here im finally coming to conclusion and accepting that i suffer from depression. I just want to give a shout to all you guys who have been battling this longer than i have, your hearts are to good for this world keep fighting through and hopefully one day we can live in a better world.<3

Hi rs8877, sometimes I think it is hard to tell the difference between anxiety and depression and it's easy to get depressed about facing the future with anxiety.

If that's your form of depression then when you recover from the anxiety the depression will resolve too.

I think we spend too much time stressing and obsessing about worries and problems and in the process we blow them up to be bigger threats than they are. As a result we flood our nervous system with fear hormones which makes our nervous system ultra sensitive.

The answer is to recognise our symptoms as discomforting but harmless and learn to accept them for the time being. When we no longer give anxiety symptoms the attention they don't deserve we stop flooding our over sensitive nerves with too much cortisol, adrenaline and other hormones. Our nerves recover, our anxiety resolves and our depression can pass.
