I think its better to just tell them you have depression. Hiding depression for a long time harms any one in a really bad way.

do u just straight up tell them that u have it becuz they dont ever care about my emotions
My parents also dont understand mental health. So I never had ever told them that I have depression. But you can try giving clue to the people you might think that will help you to cope up with depression. I have a tuition teacher who helps me with depression when I give her some clue. Some one will definately help you. And also keep posting as it will help you to cope up with depression.
Take care

ok thanks
If you think your parents are unlikely to take your condition seriously, it might be helpful to get a diagnosis from your doctor. They might be more likely to accept that you have depression if it’s an official diagnosis.
