I know theres so much negativity right now in the world. but I wanna take a second to recognize the good in our everyday lives. So, if anyone has anything positive or exciting to share i'd love to hear about it! Even if its just that you had a good dinner tonight or that you're excited for something coming up. After all it's the little things that matter (: for me I would say that I got to go on a nice bike ride earlier, It was cool out and I got to get some fresh air which was much needed. I also got my hair done recently which I loved because sometimes it's easy to forget to do little things for yourself.

You are right pinkpenquins in that we need to focus on the positive things that surround our day. This time of year in Chicago is one of my favorites, Fall. I went out today and was
mesmerized by nature's beauty around me. As I drove, the colorful leaves were falling and dancing in the wind. Houses were decorated for Halloween that gave me a feeling that
nothing really had changed with the world. The weather was beautiful which brought
children riding their bikes and moms pushing the strollers taking baby out for a breath of air.
As I drove home, I couldn't help but feel more Alive and think to myself, Life is Good xx

This place is positive. I feel safe to be real and not be forced to be fake or wear the mask that makes it easier for others not me. Buddy my dog, that is positive though he is a recue dog and was very traumatized but I think he just may know i understand and he seems to understand me a bit.

I'm glad you can find comfort in these groups, I feel the same way and its good to know others are going through similar things. Also, I'm glad you have your dog, sometimes animals bring the most comfort through tough times.
The weather was pretty nice today. Sunny day tomorrow too! Not a fan of the gloomy days. Makes me feel worse when I’m already depressed

i love this idea. today i’m grateful for my cousin visiting and getting out of the house to a few shops and eating some great sushi. also, yesterday i motivated myself to go for a run/walk which i’m pretty proud of cuz lately it’s been hard to convince myself to even wash my face or tie my shoe laces, let alone get out and exersize. there’s always some light in the dark. 💓
