Scared and alone

I’m so alone and disconnected. I’m scared and financially in bad shape. I’m hoping to sell my house but I have no one to help get it ready to list and can’t afford to pay for help. My life wasn’t always like this. It’s been 6 years in which I’ve experienced so much loss. Both my siblings past away, an long term relationship ended and I’ve gone on disability and am not working. My kids don’t want to bother with me. They don’t understand why I’m not strong and resilient as I used to be. I need a friend!!

Sorry you are going through all of this. I hope you are praying for guidence at this time, and all times! First, you need to be your own best friend and make a solid game plan. Depending on the condition of the house preparing it could mean many things! Does it need sprucing up with some minor clearing and cleaning you can do for yourself? Is there a massive hoard that needs dealing with? People have tag sales to sell nice household goods, American Rescue workers will take donations of good conditioned items. Also, a realtor will point you in the right direction😄 You have a friend💝

I’m not sure whereabouts you are, but there’s a website called Nextdoor- it encourages neighbours to register if they can give help to anyone- especially in these Covid times. You could post on a site like that possibly.

Let us all know where you are too-it would be nice for others in similar situations to be able to help.

Don’t forget you can ask your children if they can spare a bit of time too.
