Any self care advice or ideas that I can do to help me?
My limitations are: A weak back, (no jumping, fast movements, ect), Meditation (I disassociate to protect myself from fear or panic)

you know, i asked myself the same thing the other day. what i started doing is to turn my daily skin care routine into self care. instead of just putting on face toner or face cream, I actually put intention into the touch and do it slowly so that it helps with facial tensions. i also started using the jade rollers and it feels so nice. helps with stress relief. that 5 min every morning and every night really transformed how i looked at myself. i learned it from watching Reese Witherspoon’s youtube here m.youtube.com/watch?v=oGDoq....
Hello, been there more than once, last year came out of a 3 year trip thru hell. Got on a new med, and a wonderful therapist who understands, gives me love, support and encouragement. Have you talked to your Dr. you may benefit from a low dose of an antidepressant. I also use a trick I was taught over 30 years ago, I go to the windows, draw back the curtains and look out at the new day, I see nature in her glory, then I play some cheerful uplifting music, it helps. I buy a cheap bunch of flowers when I shop, keep them on my coffee table where I can see them all day. I do my best to get some exercise, a short walk is good, I have an exercise bike I ride 5 miles each time. I have two cats, that are great company. I read interesting books and watch educational programs on TV during the eve. Do you have a good supportive friend you can talk to? I am 78 so my friends are dying, and I have no family here. But I function quite well. I hope this is of help for you. Trust in yourself, and know that all things change or end. Love yourself and take pride in your accomplishments. You are a special person with your own talents and gifts. Write to us, we understand and offer help and love........sending peace and Big virtual Hugs....
Meditation is great, so is Hatha Yoga, which is gentle and smooth. I feel no fear, I made up my mind when I was 16 I was not going to let fear rule my life, I have been frighten a few times in my life, but I got over it. I do not panic, it is a waste of energy, I asses the situation and address it. Want to read a good book, it helped me a lot, by Dr. Scott Peck, "The Road Less Traveled", amazon has it used/new, it is a worthwhile investment, it was in the top 10 best sellers for 7 years!!! Hope my mail is of use to you, sending more love n hugs.......
I second @lynn10. It doesn't have to be that. I love coffee and breakfast so for coffee I slowed it down by making it analog (french press or chemed) instead of using a maker. Find something you enjoy and slow it down so you can savor it.
I have a difficult time with meditation so I do moving meditation. It is just about mindfulness and you should find what resonates with you. So to get the juices flowing: zentangle, adult coloring, gentle yoga, walking mindfully (try walking backwards slowly). How you approach it is key... it should be your only focus and should you lose focus forgive and come back. That is just part of the practice.
I am a big fan of Brene Brown. Lately she sometimes she gets too family for me (as if everyone has one) but if you go back to her TED talks and interviews there is a lot there about forgiveness.
