Feeling Guilt When Happy

Time flies leaving me feeling I wasted the happy time like I’m not worthy enough to let myself experience it fully. I’m torturing myself in the back of my head while I’m trying to live outside of it. I want to work on this. Practicing affirmations. Forgiving for past wrongs. Wishing to get past this.

Maybe you have survivors guilt ??

I miss my brothers so very much, i used to be dead inside and afraid. I've grown as time as gone by but it never stops hurting. I spend a lot of time in nature ,, actually moved from hot dead Texas to green trees and waterfalls of Oregon. Was homeless for awhilegetting on my get but i did it,,, took 2 years. But I'm actually feeling happy sometimes, doesn't lady long but I'm free in my mind better. Best of life to you, do you, enjoy nasties and animals, people suck

Xoxo be blessed

Omg I like your personality. I don’t think it’s survivors guilt because I just feel like I suck and never am enough I think it’s from people treating me bad and I just need to let it go, it’s not MY fault that they’re assholes, heehee 😉

Forgive people that you need to forgive. You feeling guilt or lack of worth over being happy seems like struggle that you should speak to a professional about. Whatever situation that you had in your past like a lack of affirmation as a child; you can be better than that. Affirm people that need that positive outlook in their lives, but also forgive those who hurt you. I love volunteering to help with organizations where I can help people. It keeps me busy and active so I don't have time to be in the head game. You can give to others and feel the positivity that comes from that work.

I appreciate your ideas. Yeah I’m forgiving especially one person in particular every day until it feels light or like no resentment is lingering. I’m lucky to be able to work to help a lot of people in my life which does help sense of self worth. That’s great that you volunteer!

Yea, unnecessary guilt can wear a person down. Some things that help are taking magnesium and ginseng, they will calm your mind body and spirit and help you get rid of sticky negative thoughts that loop. Ask a friend along for your fun. <3 You are worth enjoying your own life, and not everything has to be earned.

Has magnesium helped you? I'm thinking about supplementing that.

Yes, a lot! I take it regularly in evenings so I sleep better and that helps fight depression/anxiety too. Magnesium citrate can really get you moving, in the digestion which can be good at first, but too much can cause diarrhea. I use magnesium malate from Nature's Sunshine, they are a great company online. I love all I have gotten from them.
