Not feeling connected at all

I have only a few seconds of happiness a day the rest I am filled with low and negative frequencies. I don't know what the first steps of transforming my interior self is or maybe I just resist knowing. Besides seeking therapy, medication and other outside resources.. does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do when I am by myself to improve my mental health. I know exercise, meditation and journaling may be beneficial; is there anything else? Or maybe I should just do the above more regularly.

Be selfish!

I take long baths with fancy soap.

I smoke weed.

I workout when I want.

I endulge occasionally.

I jam tunes!

All self care.

Keep it simple but little self pleasures through the day!

I use adult colouring books, soduku, crossword and jigsaw puzzles indoors.

I recommend photography to get me outdoors, even when the sun is not out.☔ Picking a subject makes walks and 🚴‍♀️ interesting.

Giving up time in front of the TV and mobile phone screen 🤳allows me to prioritize myself for these activities.

It easier than it seems if you plan the week ahead and schedule me time.

We give you the ideas but work out what is good for you to help with your mental health 👌

Do what you enjoy,

If you don’t know what you like then experiment.

If you don’t have any motivation or don’t feel like doing things then set yourself mini goals. For 5 minutes a day I will...

maybe it’s you will brush your hair? Maybe it’s read a chapter of a book, or watch a video on YouTube or do some crafting. The more you practice the ‘habit’ the easier it will be to do and the more you will look forward to it each day and you can increase the time you’re doing it. If you find that you’re not looking forward to it, then perhaps it’s not the right activity.

Maybe you want to cook a meal for yourself or maybe even for others, go for a walk and listen to the birds, do some tidying.

It depends if you know what your definitive trigger is- if you’re feeling really down and hopeless when you’re at home and alone then limit that exposure. Why particularly is that when it’s the worst? Explore the reasons and you may improve the situation yourself :)

I’m the same way!! My happiness never lasts long.

Do you have a friend you can rely on then call him or her over and when you feel nervous her him or her know that you are nervous and you both can go for a walk and talk along the way. You will feel better knowing that someone cares.

Thanks for all the tips everyone:)
