For many years I have been helping people and family with depression. My mom had depression since I was born and the first time I saw her trying to take her life was when I was 9; she suicide herself when I was 18 unfortunately. Since little I did understand that some cases where harder than other. To put my mom has an example: My mom had a hard childhood abandon, sell for money by her own mother and having to work three jobs since 13 to survive by lying on her age; and other inconveniences in her life that she couldn’t cope with. I don’t judge people... I just listen and try my best to help. So much sadness I have put in a box inside me that now I feel week, now it’s me who needs help and I’m not afraid to seek for help ether. Because even do I might feel sad inside and alone... deep down I will be happy again thanks to good people and taking care of myself again.
For those with depression I am here even if I’m broken. Don’t mistreat yourself because you are worth it. Don’t feel shame to seek for help, there is always help and hope along the way. We are here and you are here, and don’t forget that there’s always light on the end of the tunnel.
