What are some things I can do to help my girlfriend with Anxiety and Depression disorder. What can I do to get her out of a sad and helpless mood?

What can I do to calm her down when she has a panic attack?

If anyone could share some of their coping strategies, that would be great. Thanks!

whenever I have an anxiety attack, my boyfriend calls me and he talks about our future together and he tells me what a talented writer I am and that we have a future together. We have the same group of friends so sometimes he makes fun of them (all in good humour) and calms me down

Appreciate her out of the blue and tell her how lucky you are to have her in your life. Do it out of the blue as well, so she knows you really mean it.

I have a simple meditative teqnique on how to control excessive thinking.

All these anxiety disorders are caused due to brain overthinking

Positive reinforcement like let’s try to remember what we have learned like with the breathing techniques and we can take all the time we need. I think that you are there to help and support your friend so I think it’s good if you can let your friend in a crisis that you have already had things that are going to help in the works. I don’t think that a person in the middle of a crisis meltdown are in a good place to be able to tell you what they need. I believe that you will be a very good positive and won’t go unnoticed. I’m glad that you are able to be there with your friend . I can easily get a bit of hope and incouragment knowing that some one is there to help. Just been there is a very much needed help

Encourage her to find a doctor who spealizes in panic disorders. That will help her out in the long run.
