I started one for a couple days, but then forgot to take it. I felt ok for a couple days and then started feeling down.
I have been since 2004 and still have anxiety and panic at times. I recently switched medications.
Unfortunately, I take lots of meds for anxiety & depression. I’ve been suffering for about 30 yrs and I’ve been through a lot of trial and error. I actually tried to slowly get off of all my meds, but I did a nose dive. However, meds do not always make it “go away”, it will help make it tolerable. It’s important to have a therapist, learn some coping skills and a psychiatrist for medication mgmt. I’d suggest before meds, try a therapist. Good luck!
Iv been off medication since January, Iv tried 4 different ones and now I’m too anxious to even try anything else, Iv had therapy which helped a little, just trying advice to self-help like in books and stuff cut caffeine down drinking more water more exercise it’s helping, I did ask for a medication to help me relax but they just advise anti depressants all the time which I refuse to take as I just don’t think they help me personally & the side effects make me too anxious x
GiadaPeterson.... I agree wholeheartedly, it is a never ending cycle. However, going it alone makes it much worse.
I’m actually on a mood stabilizer. I have bipolar 2 though, I had horrible anxiety. I’ve heard they’re comorbid.
