Hey so about a year ago I was at the gym and decided I really wanted to fet a feel for a pump so I bought this Pre-Workout C4 300mg Caffeine and I ended up in the hospital with heart palpitations and really bad high blood pressure. It took me a while to recover from it. So I had a very healthy way of living until now. About two weeks ago I got high blood pressure in public and then panicked ended up going to the cardiologist and he told me I had a normal heart rate and a normal heart. but told me that it is my mind that is over ruling my body. But I have headaches very light but I get them only at night I guess when I start to think a lot about life and my personal health. I need some help. I want to go back to my normal life style. any tips? any suggestions? what do I do?

Personally I read “Hope and Help for your nerves” by Dr. Claire Weekes in iBooks and it helped me understand a lot and the purpose is to face, accept, float, and let time pass and you’ll be better.

The mind is a very powerful and dangerous place in the same breath, especially during this time of quarantine. Keep your head up, you’ll be ok. Just deep breaths in through your mouth out through your nose, work best for me when I have random anxiety.

Do you think I should be conserned about anything?

Vice versa, in through the nose and out through the mouth***

Hi Victor. I had a very similar issue. I ended up in emergency room with heart palpitations and they didn’t find anything wrong with me. I started weaning myself off caffeine and now they have stopped.

I used to have really bad exercise induced panic attacks. But after finding and starting Wim Hof breathing exercises they have made a giant reduction in symptoms. The exercises put you in that heavy breathing mimicking a mild panic state, but the breath holding control part of it reprograms your brain to no be afraid anymore. After you start doing them when you feel fine, try to do them when you are hot, have a racing heart, or during or after exercise and it will help correct your panic response even more. Search for him on YouTube, there are free videos and a free smartphone app too. After trying countless things, this was the only truly effective treatment.

try CBD it works wonders for sleep anxiety and headaches. Exercise really focus on your diet it has a huge effect on my anxiety at least. Don’t bully yourself ease into working back out or even a long walk. I have plaid football through college and taken all of those pre workouts they are very dangerous a lot end up as being amphetamine analogs. Best of luck!
