Life in this world can be hard, life in this world can bring fears and pain. Because of uncertainties, many people simply give up. (1cor15:32)Please don't give up. Hi Coffeegirl.
I wish I could stop the overeating, binge eating. I was getting in good shape and i’ve probably undone all the gains. Makes me more depressed, unmotivated, plus, I am sick of doing it!!! I want to stop it but when I get overwhelmed ,if I can’t do it all, I do nothing and eat. Very unproductive. I have a hard time keeping myself on an even keel.
Thanks for posting. Best to you.
A mixture of nature walks, talking to my therapist, mindfulness training, l-theanine supplement, and trying to face what I'm anxious about.
Those are all amazing things ❤️ and what your doing isn’t coping, to me coping with anxiety is staying stagnant and not moving towards getting better out of fear and relying on things that seem like they work but it’s actually only temporarily working and making someone think their better just for the moment, what you listed is moving in a very positive direction please keep it up ❤️
Hi Diamond,
Thank you. I'm trying! There's been alot of trial and error but I've found some things that work for me.
Yes I try to believe that ups and downs are a part of the process as well, keep up the good work (:
Yes. All part of the process-excellent point.
I used to drink wine but it was not good for my health and it often came with lots of eating. I agree there really is not another great instant relief for anxiety but there are activities you can engage in that can take your mind off the panic feeling. I find activities that require thinking distract me such as drawing, writing, washing dishes or cooking, drumming on a table, etc. I also really like tea. I can drink tea and still get a hang out beverage feeling.
Hi Coffeegirl
I understand your pain I use to dull the symptoms at the bottom of a bottle of Jack.
Listening to music, prayer, talking to someone, catching up on shows. It's definitely a trying time in our world right now.
