I used to take a chair yoga class when I was going to physical therapy and enjoyed it. I had even gotten to a point where I was able to do some of it without modifications. All of the local yoga studios only offer hot yoga which I cannot do. I also can't afford the classes. Does anyone know of a good yoga DVD or even a class on YouTube they can suggest. Really want to get back to it but will have to do it at home. Thanks.

I always think taking a class with someone is helpful . It's one of the things I did to get over agoraphobia . I took a class with two friends who didn't know I had this fear and after class we would stop for tea and a snack. It was fun and frightening . When one class finished I would sign up for another. I made these commitments to others but the real commitment was to myself. I always took classes through our community education which was more affordable, but if I needed to start at home I would get two warm bodies and turn on you tube, light a couple candles , and there you go.
I did enjoy being part of a class but unfortunately the budget is a bit too tight right now. No one has any interest in taking a class with me so I guess my two bodies will have to be the dog and cat for now. Better than goat yoga I suppose.
Sometimes we can only do what we can do. Maybe a different opportunity will present itself. Hugs, Pam
Lol on the goat yoga. I remember when my dog was alive and I would be on the floor doing my yoga. He thought it was play time. Took a lot of disciplining and treats to get him to leave me alone lol
He liked to bite my hair haha.
Great memory for me, thank you for bringing that back🐾🐾
Lol I just don't understand it. Looks like the goat got bored pretty quick.
Would love to see the stability of the goat during a head stand hahaha
I like Tara Lee DVD
I have 3 I think. I just love her calm quiet approach.
Good post! This is helpful
My 70 year old Mom & I enjoy Rodney Yee’s DVD. It may be called AM & PM Yoga. It’s simple and gentle. Nothing fancy.
I’ve seen some on early morning PBS channels
I will definitely look into that.
