Back pain
This will pass, it always does. It’s good that you could tell us that you are hurting. I wish I could be there for you, to put a smile on your face. You are not alone as long as you have this group.
I have a question. I've had anxiety for5 years. Mostly my whole life but I am having terrible pain in my lower back, upper back, hips. From being tense all the time can my muscles freeze up and not work anymore
Hi again. I just replied to your last post about pain. Hope it was of some help.
Hi, Trees! You may have anxiety but that doesn't mean that is what is causing your pain necessarily. Yes, back pain can be caused by anxiety, as can chest pain if you are having panic attacks. Did your MD do any lab tests? I don't know where you are from, but you may want to ask your MD to do a test for Lyme disease, etc. Also, have you tried exercising? I know it can be hard w/ back pain. I suffer w/ chronic back pain as I fell off a ladder years ago and sustained a compression fracture in my back and broke my coccyx (ouch!). Over the years I have developed scoliosis from this injury. Still, I stretch, lift weights, am learning ballet (and practice almost daily @ home), go for walks (snowshoe in winter). Exercise is so important!! Not only will exercise strengthen the muscles that support your back and hips, but it makes you feel good mentally....really! It can be a godsend for anxiety and depression. Are you on medication for your issues? Still, I would recommend a thorough medical evaluation... if nothing shows from tests, at least you will be more aware that you need to focus more on your anxiety. Hope this helps and good luck!
I have been diagnosed with a very bad back, anxiety raises the pain. I'm here for you!
I can't stop being afraid of anxiety I'm always tense and anxious. I had back X-rays and there was no fracture. But I'm always anxious. Will that cause my muscles to tighten up more and more and they won't work anymore. I do have an old fracture and. Osteoporosis.
