My parents passed in 2018 and since then I've had anxiety and panic attacks. Like a lot of you I have good days and bad. One symptom that scares me is I worry about going to sleep for some reason and just as I fall asleep I get chest pain and it wakes me right up. It's gone when I wake but I feel scared then try falling asleep again only to have the same thing happen. It has kept me up for hours sometimes but last night I kept calm and only woke twice and slept good. And I think I have a phobia about my heart I'm always thinking bad stuff about it and googling. I've passed stress/blood/ekgs cardiologist says I'm fine but I'm still scared

Anxiety chest pain at night
Hi there sorry for your loss, do you take any medication to help you sleep or relax or anything for anxiety? if not it may be beneficial for you to have something like that, hope you feel better soon take care
I don't take any medication because it's not a every night occurrence. Last night was my first episode in about a week. Has anyone else experienced this or similar?
I am so sorry about losing your parents especially so close together. I think you could be suffering from health anxiety so meds should be able to help you. Maybe bereavement counselling could help too?
It's early days yet and it's hugely traumatic to lose loved ones so expect to take time to recover a bit as you are still going through the grieving process. x
I have panic disorder and get the same exact symptoms
Always scared to fall asleep as if my heart will suddenly stop
