I have been on antidepressants for 9 weeks next Tuesday, I don’t have the low mood, I am sleeping better and able to eat after almost six weeks of not eating.
While I feel much better than I did, I don’t seem to have a positive feeling, and I can’t say I feel like I did before like the happy me, will this improve still, before depression I didn’t worry but now I am constantly thinking about my health.

Hi. I'm glad that you are feeling better and the antidepressants seem to be working for you. In my experience taking medication, I've found that they get rid of the negative thoughts and feelings, but a side effect is that they negate the positive and happy feelings, or rather our ability to experience those emotions. It's always a plus to be kind to yourself, or treating yourself the same as you would other people. Doing something nice for yourself. Or get involved with something you enjoy. It's there inside you, just got to bring it out
Yes I think you are right, I have had depression before, but I cannot remember when I got better what it was like, but I can remember when I was really better I felt good and nothing worried me.
I have to go for a ultra sound next Sunday and this has made me feel a bit anxious.
All went well bladder and kidneys working normal, emptied the bladder completely, so good results.
You said it yourself...feeling better...roll with it...stay positive and if a blip comes along know you will make it through....Positivity is where it's at....
Tomorrow has not come yet....enjoy how you're feeling, please don't rob yourself of the happy! Stay strong & hold your power!
Sparkles & dump trucks of groovy love, peace, light, joy & hugs Shadow!
I am pleased I haven’t got the low mood, I just want to get back to being me again.
I have had depression before but it was so long ago I cannot remember when I came out of the depression what it was like, but I can remember feeling happy and confident.
I have had a slight problem with my bladder / kidneys so I am having a ultra sound scan next Sunday I think this has made me a bit anxious, and that probably isn’t helping me.
Oh well with the bladder & kidney issue it's understandable to wound up a bit....stay strong.. I wish you all the best! If you want let me know how you make out........I'll keep you in my heart...
Sparkles & dump trucks of groovy love, peace, light, joy & hugs Shadow!
I had the ultra sound today on bladder and kidneys, she said no air in the bladder and kidneys and bladder are working fine, so it was a relief, just thought I would let you know.X
