Am I a failure?

I practiced my presentation but somehow when I stood in front of an audience, I felt nervous. Though nothing went wrong. I was still able to finish speaking and got applauded in the end. I told myself that I am not expecting to win. But I can feel a pang of disappointment, since I lost. I am representing my team and I lost.

You did good. Losing makes us better and strive for more.

You’re so not a failure! You did your best and that’s all that truly matters tbh. ❤️

Hello,

This is what I always say to my son who is in college now, “you will experience disappointments in life but as long as you did your best, that’s OK.”

You gave your best in the presentation. You are not a failure.

God bless you.
