Need some tips for feeling calm

I’ve had a good day today, but now I’m laying in bed and all I can feel is my heartbeat and my limbs tingle, and my chest feels heavy. I’ve dealt with anxiety for a long time but it’s still a struggle. I wanted to know if there were any tips to trying to calm myself or things I could do to help alleviate it. I just wanna be able to rest. Any suggestions would be appreciated (I should also mention I don’t take any medications right now)

I don't take meds either. I think they are awful after seven years on them. At night I listen to rain sounds on my phone which really helps me relax and keeps all the thoughts out of my head.

I actually listen to rain sounds sometimes when I can’t sleep but maybe I can try it anytime I’m not feeling well. It’s worth a shot. Thank you

Many have found that taking magnesium (magnesium malate is best) and ginseng helped a lot w both anxiety and depression, they calm the mind body and spirit and get rid of sticky negative thoughts the loop around in the mind. So, they help you sleep better and not get the rushing heart which is a sign of low magnesium. Take your mind off of things and let it relax by listening to a calm favorite audio or tv show on timer, I usually do 45 min to be into a deep sleep before it times out. Hope this helps you too! <3
