I have an upcoming trip (will not be traveling alone) and am terrified that I will have panic attack at the airport or on the plane. I tried breathing (4-7-8) and grounding (5-4-3-2-1) exercises but it doesn’t seem to help.
I am planning to take Ativan.
Does anybody have any other tips?
Thanks!!!

Thank you! Music and earbuds are great suggestions. I have my kindle loaded up, and am bringing an IPad. I also found out that when I am stressed at home, playing solitaire or Wordscapes games helps me to relax, hence the IPad….
Gosh, your husband is a rock star! You see, the person flying with me is my stepfather who’s is absolutely awesome😀Part of the reason why I am taking sometime off is because I am experiencing some difficulties in my personal life. My boyfriend of 12 years (we have no kids, but two lovable furry Maine cone cats) is not coming with me and this is sort of trial separation, which adds extra anxiety (on top of my other issues). About a year ago we decided to move away, then he changed his mind. So we’re at the point where he doesnt’t want to leave the area and I can’t stay…TMI, but thank you very much for listening….I hope the rest of your weekend is awesome😀
