Anxiety Chest Pain ?

Anyone has chest pain from anxiety? What’s your symptoms & feelings like? I really want to know.

Yes I get chest pain and loads of other physical symptoms. It’s pretty normal to have physical reactions because your body is going though a fight or flight episode.

Like a 300 LB person is sitting on my chest and sometimes burning too

Claire Weekes describes this symptom of anxiety as "the horse's hoof on the chest" in her book 'Self help for your nerves'.

Oh man. The chest pain gets really bad sometimes. It changes. Sometimes it’s a squeezing sensation, sometimes it’s SUPER sharp, sometimes it’s burning, sometimes it feels like my chest is ripping apart etc. it usually radiates as well. But I’ve noticed that I can recreate it when pressing certain areas of my chest or sternum and so I know it’s most likely due to inflammation.

For me it feels like a rushing feeling under my sternum inside my rib cage. Like theres a Tanzanian devil in there spinning like a tornado.

Chest pain, dizziness, sweating, hand gets numb, nauseous feeling.

For me a feeling like a band tightened around my chest or sometimes indigestion feeling. Wonder at time if it’s a heart attack, but I see a cardiologist who says I’m good.

I get a burning sensation across the top of my chest to the tops of my arms. It sometimes makes it hard to sleep.

ReeDiana, chest pain is a common symptom of anxiety disorder caused by muscular tension. But still best to get a doctor's o.k. that it's 'only' nerves. When your nervous system recovers from its over sensitive state all the fake symptoms of anxiety will pass including tense chest muscles.

I get stabbing and crushing pain in my sternum and right side allways think I’m having a heart attack cause of my health anxiety 😞

I've been having the same thing, except mine is my sternum and pain in the left side of my chest. This has happened before, but sometimes it just feels different and scares me. I keep telling myself it's just anxiety.

I meant to put left side 😂, and yes it’s so scary allways thinking it’s your heart once this corona virus has started to go I’m gonna go see my doctor and see if I can get an echo as I’m that convinced my heart is wrong
