I am sorry you had a pretty gnarly anxiety attack. I personally cannot relate to the tingling and small pains but I seriously doubt if you are the only one. I just wanted to reach out and respond to your post because I see that no one else has responded yet. You didn't say how your day was going today. I hope you had a peaceful day.
I know the exact feeling .I went to the ER a few weeks with my first panic attack. I was having shortness of breath and chest tightness with pain on and off for over 12 hrs. I wouldn’t describe mine as tingling because it felt too intense. I was given anxiety medication and sent home. The feeling seemed to return within the last day or so. So I’m trying to manage it. You are not alone in this feeling.
so sorry you went through this. Glad ur ok. The pins and crawling feelings definitely happen. And can linger. Just take it easy. Try doing deep breathing exercises where u inhale from the nose hood it three seconds and exhale slow from the nose. You can practice a few times a day to kind of slow the physical system and hopefully decrease some of the adrenaline from the anxiety. Lifting you in good vibes and prayer.
My doctor diagnosed me with Pleurisy....which is basically an irritation or inflammation of the walls of the chest cavity/Lungs.....does it hurt when you try and take a deep breath...or is it constant....mine goes away and comes back...I had everything checked out and that's what they determined.....hang in there and it will get better
Yes! I get a tight chest and feel like I can’t get a good deep breath until I am able to become calm / neutral again. It is so scary and it adds to the anxiety I am already experiencing. I also get weird chest pains which also add to the anxiety. I definitely know what you mean when it comes to that! And it is not pleasant. So sorry you are experiencing this. Please know you are not alone. I hope you are feeling better now!
Yes, I get all kinds of odd symptoms that scare me sometimes. I sometimes can't breathe right too because my chest feels tight and I'm breathing too hard. And, my symptoms can last a long time.
An online therapist once explained to me that you can have panic attacks and anxiety attacks and there's a difference. She says anxiety attacks last longer.
I'm glad you got help. I hope you feel better.
