Tonight I tried Kava Kava tea. Def made me more relaxed. Has anyone tried theanine, Valerian root, stjohns wort, etc? I also hear a daily GABA supplement and Tryptophan is good. Anyone had any luck with any supplements or vitamin regime?

Valerian root and passionflower work fairly well for me for mild to moderate anxiety, but it can make me a little fatigued. I find that hydroxyzine, a non-addictive prescription emergency med rather than a vitamin, is most helpful to me, but again, it can make me fatigued, and taking more than 4 at a time can be lethal.

Hi. I took St. John’s wort in tablet form and so did two of my daughters a few years back. They did for pms and me for anxiety. We found it drove us all to such a high level of adrenaline type feeling we stopped after third dose. I’m going to try kava kava tea. Where do u get yours? I’m in uk. Ty
