Has anyone tried St John’s Wart?

I’ve seen mixed reviews mostly all good

And wanted to give it a try.

(I’m not on antidepressants or any other Rx)

Hi. I’m on St. John’s Wart as part of my premenstrual dietary supplement. If you are not on any type of medications (mostly SSRIs and lanoxin) you should be fine. Precautious when people are on birth control medications as it affects estrogen hormone and Ofcourse not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is a wonderful natural supplement for anxiety and depression.

My body responds better to naturals.

Give it 2 months for it to start being effective. It is not overnight solution. Yes, nothing beats natural remedies 👍

This is my dietary supplement. Just to name a few significant ones such as: Vit B6 combined with Magnesium is excellent, chromium is great that metabolizing all macronutrients to give energy, ginkgo works as vasodilator. Besides this “all in one” capsule, I take omega3, Vit D and Vital protein collagen peptide in powder form for my smoothie.

Don't have it with 5htp as you risk getting serotonin syndrome - st John's wort is serotogenic

I stopped taking the HTP-5 (200 mg)

I felt like it wasn’t working, I purchased another supplement that was all vitamins and only 20 mg of HTP-5.
