If the doctor will agree

Pregablin for anxiety?
I am on it for pain, sleep problems and restless legs however recently I have had a lot of stress and by pure fluke I found it is helping a lot with my anxiety as I go into the afternoon and have took the second 100mg dose I really feel myself relaxing.. so I would say yes it is helping me more with anxiety at the moment than anything even though not originally given for that
I take pregabalin for my anxiety. I still have anxious moments and I hate that because they increased my pregabalin dose they stopped my prn promethazine. I do have a small supply of diazepam if I need it but my husband has control of it as I'm not to be trusted!
If I dont take it, for whatever reason, I dont really notice a difference, so maybe it's not doing the trick.
Thankyou for the advice, the doctor won’t yet prescribe me pregablin, I’m on my 4th anti depressant now she’s prescribed me Duloxetine, I get anxious about taking new things so just praying this doesn’t make me feel any worse than I already do right now 😩
I take duloxetine 120mg be careful...dont miss a dose. I've been suffering horrendous withdrawal symptoms from missing 1 days meds. I take them in the morning, by late afternoon my mood had dipped significantly, overnight I had the worst night sweats, in the morning I had to spend a fair amount of time on the toilet, had massive brain fog, felt like I had the worst hangover ever, then the sweats and uncontrollable temperature and then the vomiting! I took the next days dose as I should (after vomiting and feeling a bit better) slept A LOT and woke up feeling better, and this morning I have no effects of the miss dose.
It must work but the few times I missed a dose I really wished I hadn't!
I am on 30mg mirtazapine and pregabalin for crippling anxiety. I take 75mg in the morning and afternoon and 150mg at night to help with sleep. It definitely helps my anxiety a great deal. Before getting prescribed pregabalin I couldn't leave the house. Good luck with your new meds I hope they work for you 😊
