Hello Danland,

Ok, first of all... BREATHE. This was taught to me by a group therapist when attending CBT.

Here are the steps (taken from the anxieties.com website)

1) Sit comfortably.

2) Take a long, deep breath and exhale it slowly while saying the word "relax" silently.

3) Close your eyes.

4) Let yourself take ten natural, easy breaths. Count down with each exhale, starting with "ten."

5) This time, while you are breathing comfortably, notice any tensions, perhaps in your jaw or forehead or stomach. Imagine those tensions loosening.

6) When you reach "one," open your eyes again.

I was very skeptical at first, but when I began to practice this technique (at first every hour on the hour) it truly did begin to help calm my nerves and help to clear my thinking.

Good luck and sending you a big hug!

Hi Danland, I totally understand where you’re coming from. Bad episodes happen with mental health and it’s important that we are gentle and caring with ourselves. Don’t beat yourself up over it. Calm down, take some deep soothing breaths! Do anything that helps calm you down. I like to color and listen to music. What helps calm you down?

oh no :( well i’m sure you will find something that will help calm you down soon! do you like to do crossword searches? i’m sure they have lots of apps on the phone with that! meditation has helped me a ton, i know it seems super weird and dumb at first but trust me it helps ❤️
