Lately I've been thinking that I might suffer from depression, I have never been diagnosed though. I might want to reach out to a therapist to find out whether I suffer from depression or not, but I'm wondering whether this would be okay or weird? Like what if nothing is wrong with me and I'm just not in a good mood right now? I'm really torn on what I should do and I could really use some advice

Depression is really heavy and I think that it'd be recognized. It may be that the therapy would still help you with these problems and I'd encourage you to follow through with that. All of this is conjecture, but those are my thoughts. They may or may not be useful. Keep positive
and take good care of yourself. Do whatever you see fit to get in a better state of mind, and keep reaching out like this. I hope I don't seem commanding.
There's nothing wrong with playing it safe and seeing a therapist, if you feel you might need one. It's really no different than seeing your doctor to check out some physical symptom that you're concerned about.
I would strongly recommend you see a professional. There is no downside. If they conclude you're not, perhaps that gives you some help to know that. If they conclude you are, they may be able to help. Never be afraid to ask for help if you think you might need it. God bless.
