I haven’t really been sleepier than normal. I’m on my phone a lot 😂 but that’s nothing new. It’s strange to just have these sudden symptoms

Whenever I’m having a panic attack at work or out in public I just try to breathe and remember that I’ve survived and made it through the day before and I can do it again. Just push through. You got this!!!

Thanks :) I wish I didn't look into the mirror. my face is pale. Luckily I looked it up and saw that is common.

Breathe dom410, hopefully you have settled down by now.

This isn't unusual to happen in a store. Between the lighting they

have which may flicker from time to time, as well as the over stimulation

of our brain to gather all the info hitting us at once, is cause for this to

happen to an anxious person.

Not freaking out as well as deep breathing and exhaling slowly can and will

bring down your adrenaline and anxiety. Do not run out of the store it will only

promote your fear to rise. Breathe, knowing that you are safe and it's just a glitch

in our subconscious thoughts.

Practice makes perfect. The more you practice deep breathing at home, while

driving and while shopping, your brain will get accustom to not fighting you and

go into relaxation mode at a moment's notice. :) xx

Thanks. I feel calmer but like with alot of panic I feel calm but know my mind is scanning my body for anything wrong.

I'm thinking it might of been over stimulation, I had a earbud in one ear and rushing to find the mayonnaise. I abandoned looking for the mayo and did check out. So I'm happy I did that.

I'm a little disappointed because I did take the rest of the day off however I wont be too hard on myself for it. The last few days have been pretty stressful and I think the Paxil I'm on isn't working anymore.

Hey dom, never be disappoint in yourself for giving in to anxiety. It happens and is a learning experience that will make you stronger the next time around. Concentrate on the fact that you went to the store and you did check out. I never even use to get to that

point, I would just run out leaving all my groceries behind.

What's going on in our lives at the time can play into these feelings, no doubt about that.

Depending how long you've been on Paxil as well as what dose can mean it isn't working

anymore however it's usually about the way we process the thought and what we are feeling. Physically, a panic attack is short lived but an anxiety attack will leave the residue of fear that you seem to still be experiencing. All the adrenaline has not left

your body yet and so you are left with free floating anxiety symptoms. Your subconscious mind keeps replaying what happened which just keeps the thought going.

Do you meditate? YouTube has many videos that can help calm down your over sensitized nervous system by Mindfulness Meditation or Deep Breathing Meditation.

You are going to be okay. I've been there a million times as you have that anxiety no longer plays it's game with me. It knows it doesn't have a chance anymore. I will win. :) xx
