Hi clumsyuraraka, it is happening to me right now. I just had a major panic attack. All those symptoms are anxiety, you are not the only one.
It is most likely true that you are physically healthy but mental health is a different problem (although it manifest physically too like fast heart beat).
You’ve mentioned that your family members think you do not need therapy and that you are fine but what do you think you need? The most important is what you think would be good for you, not what they think is good for you. They probably genuinely think everything is fine but sometimes it is hard for others to understand what is anxiety and how difficult it is to live with it.
I encourage you to seek help if you think it could be beneficial for you, only you know how you feel and what you need.
Thanks! And i feel like i need major help...im crying multiple times and wanting to be somewhere else for a few days lol
These experiences come with feeling anxious 24/7. Good that you are aware of them. I believe that one’s mental health is threatened when these warning signs are ignored.
There are many suggestions here and on the net of things to practice to alleviate feelings of anxiety. Good sleep hygiene being of primary importance.
I sometimes wonder if a state of anxiety causes us to believe that our problems, experiences and feelings are far worse than anyone can imagine and we give up with breathing exercises, meditation and outdoor activities when they don’t work in the first five minutes.
Consider that your family and Doctor are right about your health for a while. Perhaps you can prove them right.... not wrong.
