for a short time. Friday evening last, after my debacle with the sleep specialist, I made a quick trip to the ER. I had a something, I don't know what to call it. A crack up I guess . I couldn't get my breath, passed out ,high BP etc. All about anxiety I think. They took it seriously at the hospital and kept me overnight for observation Sat. morning I had a nuclear stress test . I was totally frantic so they gave me a Xanax IV. Test over, all fine. I am feeling good and I realize I haven't felt this good for years. I didn't know how bad I have been feeling , all the time, until it was lifted. I was high I guess and it was sweet. I know it was false or was it ? Does it matter? I need a feel good drug therapy. Does such a thing exist without a risk?
I only know for a short time I was happy and it was so good.Pam

Hi. I, too, would like to feel good at times without all the work associated with getting there to a good place. It would just be heaven. But life attacks me and I have to trudge through. Started mindfulness so am in the process of taking a step back and looking at my life and trying to figure out why I have free floating anxiety all the time. Figured out I am waiting for someone to rescue me from my life or for my life to change. Not going to happen. So I have needed to accept my life as it is. Not easy. Have to accept, accept and accept again. But I think I may be getting a little relief. Life is not easy, especially at our age. Still keep looking for that happy pill from time to time. Anne
Hi pam my friend good to see you got some relief even if it was temporary! Have you heard of the blood tests you can have done to see which medication will suit you? I can only speak from my own experience I've tried a lot of medication till I found something that works I'm on venlafaxine which is really good once you get over the first couple of weeks I also take diazepam, amitriptalene and quetiapine a lot of med I agree but they seem to work so I'm going to leave well alone! I word of caution don't take prozac unless it's aavid last resort I had to come off it as it was making me aggressive ! I hope you continue to feel better soon god bless my friend david!
Hello David, Are you referring to the genetic tests for medicine ? I don't know anything about them really. I try to make sure I don't have any counter=indication with my meds. Last week my Doctor missed one but I caught it . Always always check. I did try Prozac long ago, I don't remember why I didn't stay on it. So many drugs, so little time. LOL. Pam
Good to see you can still have a sense of humour! It was the genetic test I was talking about supposedly they can tell what works best for yours nah I'd rather my doctor prescribes what's best for me! I'm sensing a more happier you lately or I hope so anyway love our wee chat and if you need to talk just message me I'm usually around somewhere just watch the time difference God bless you my friend david 🏴
Thank you David. I am feeling better. I'm almost afraid to say it out loud. Be good, don't get into any trouble is my advice for you. Wouldn't it be nice to get into a little bit of trouble? Just enough to make it interesting. Pam
