I have never had anxiety before. I mean I have but was easy to get over and was very minor. Ever since the complications that I had with my pregnancy and having a c section and than a week later having to have a second surgery, my anxiety has been so bad. I was fine and than all of sudden it hit me like a truck. I started feeling like a elephant was sitting on my chest, and I was having a heart attack. I went to the hospital several times, and each time they told me there was nothing wrong with me. Finally I was told that I have bad anxiety and was having anxiety/panic attacks. It literally cripples me some times. I can not breath, I get really dizzy, I start sweating, I get shaky, etc. I am currently taking medication, its only been 3 days. I know its not gonna work over night, but some days I feel so alone and that this is only happening to me. I see a therapist twice a week and its kinda helping but some times I feel like its not. Is there anyone out there that is feeling the same way and can relate?

Congratulations on your baby! I can relate. My anxiety started post partum. My first attack was when my first born was 6 weeks old and I had the symptoms you described exactly. It's so hard because this should be a happy time and instead you feel so scared. I believe a lot of it is hormones that change post partum, plus the additional stresses you've had. You will be ok. give the meds a chance to work. I know it's hard but you will get thru it ❤️
I understand my anxiety has gotten bad I keep thinking I have something drs says no but I’m convinced I am I sometimes wonder are dr wrong or is it me I feel like I’m losing my mind and then this depression sets it
