Had a hectic week, but now it is Friday night all alone and tired. Usually enjoy being by myself, but tonight I feel all alone in the world. The gym closes early, or I would go exhaust myself, besides it is dark outside. Usually go to sleep quickly, hope so tonight. But still have rest of the weekend.

Feeling lonely tonight
Goodnight Kayakin, I hope by now you are sound asleep zzzzz
Sleep well my friend xx
Hi
I hope when you wake you feel better.
Maybe you may be able to plan to do something
A visit to a coffee shop or a walk somewhere if that’s possible. I know it helps me.
I often feel the same as you describe.
Sleep well..

Hi Kayakin, my schedule rotates so I get every other weekend off and i know how it feels to survive a hectic week and then find yourself feeling lonely on a Friday night. i wish i could help you. i also go to the gym to exhaust myself. i tend to drink on lonely nights though I don't recommend it. my beach plans got cancelled for this weekend for work training which was cancelled at the last minute so now i too have to find something to keep me occupied this weekend. I'm low on money so there are not a lot of options for me. just know that you are not alone in your circumstances. i hope you find something to do and someone to be with. hugs!!
I feel you. I have been cutting back on self medicating on the weekends so the crushing boredom and anxiety persist. Even while having "fun" I feel anxious and mildly depressed.
Know what you feel. Thanks for reminding me I am not alone and understood.
Thanks Everyone. Had a very hard workout, ate some protean, and looked on here for others that need help more than me.
Always found helping others to be the most satisfying part of life. Glad I have that to look back on. So fortunate to have training and skill to volunteer to help others I came across in my work, and now here.
I am not alone and far from the best at it. Remember years ago going to a small hospital to see a woman that was traveling through town all alone and involved in an auto accident. She had no one. But... The director of nursing was off work and sitting with this woman who had nothing, and could do nothing but take and say thanks. That was enough. Anyone that helps people a lot knows many are not able to say thank you.
