Hey, Love. I've been where you are. Insomnia is not the best but I learned to utilise it - I catch up on reading or some TV series. Now you said you were very tired so you gotta get some sleep. There are a few options: resolve the issue which is bothering you, take a sleeping pill (last resort) or start a melatonin course - the hormone which makes you sleep. The last option helped me the last time I had a long period of insomnia when I was too tired to do the stuff I mentioned.
However, I'd go with resolving what's bothering you.
I’m so sorry. When this first started happening to me I went to YouTube and found delta wave music for sleep. There’s a few free apps. A lot of people like ‘Calm’. I also listen to rain or wind for 8 hours. It helps keep your brain in deeper stages of sleep instead of waking.
If that doesn’t help at all I’d just mention it to your doc. Everyone goes through times like this but you don’t want it to last.
