Effexor

I just had my Effexor increased a month ago to 225mg. It was not helping, I have been so up and down, mostly staying anxious and depressed. I get so nervous that I feel like I'm having panic attacks and shaking. Also effexor is causing me to sweat like crazy. My forehead is sweaty, and sweat is dripping down my back. Underneath my hair is wet. I can't deal with this anymore. I think that I hate Effexor. I want my Dr to change my meds to something better. Idk what though. I've also heard that coming off Effexor is horrible to come off of. So I don't know what to do. Oh also I'm on ambien too sleep and there are lots of times I hate it too. I feel like I'm out of my head and then the next morning I think for a minute about what happened at home the night before. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to ask the dr Wednesday to do. I hope someone could give some advice or is this all something I'm just going to have to deal with?

Just wanted to let you know that I tapered off of Effexor about a year ago. I am back on it now. But the taper wasn’t too bad actually. It just took awhile to finish. Slow was the key for me. As far as questions I am not sure. Maybe how long you should stay on your increased dose before trying to come off of it. They also might have some advise to overcome the drug symptoms for coming off of Effexor.

3 of my sisters and my daughter take Effexor and they swear by it. None of them have side effects and they have been taking it for years. 2 sisters take the highest dose of 375mg. Maybe give it more time

I'll keep giving it some more time. Hopefully it will get better!
