Oh Mskitty, I am so sorry you are sick. Please feel better soon.
Wishing you well xx
Oh goodness 😳 get plenty of rest and fluids, seems to be about all you can do for it. Feel better soon!
Vary sorry for you for both your loss and the added COVID, what bad timing it had! I've lost my father and my mother in the past few years, can relate. I hope you have either siblings or friends to support you. I didn't have too much of either, but have pulled through.
My mom passed away 5 yrs ago. It’s just feels lonely to have both the ppl who raised you and knew you your whole life to be gone…. Odd feeling.
I have a great support system I’ve built myself🩷 Good ppl and family 🩷
Thank you for taking the time to respond and I am so very sorry for your losses as well.
I am not the best with talking about grief.
All I can say is that, "I'm sorry".
Grief is the worst. When we knew it was probably time to head home and see Dad before he passed I struggled with knowing what was to come. I could feel the sadness and pain of grief just waiting for me. He was very very sweet at the end of his life and once care was removed it didn’t take long… he’s in a better place I believe, its us left behind that are left with the burden of no more hugs, laughter with him, and just the heaviness of someone we love physically gone.
Thank you for your simple words Silver… there are no magic words to heal this so saying I’m sorry is good. 🩷
So sorry about the loss of your Dad. As you know, dealing with death and major traumas can compromise our immune systems. My husband, son and I recently came down with Covid when we went to Scotland. Our cases were very mild. I wanted to encourage you because the recent variant of Covid usually produces mild symptoms. Rest as much as possible and drink plenty of fluids. You should be feeling better soon.
