So, my PMS is now starting at least 2 weeks before my menstrual starts. Along with it comes increased anxiety. Anyone else have this annoying issue?

PMS and Anxiety
Yes!!! Just got done with all of this. It was very intense this time around..... :
Hi NotToday,
I know this post has been a while but I'm experiencing the same thing you posted above.
My period isnt due until 7 or 8 days from now, however the PMS started last Thursday. It usually used to be a week prior to my period, but now I get the breast tenderness, (the soreness is to the peak of it) muscle weakness, fogginess anxiety, depression etc 2 weeks to my period.
I've noticed the patterns for 3 months now.
Is there anything you're doing to help? This is really sickening.
Thank God we have an holiday today and I've just being indoor, cant imagine how I'd cope at work.
And I'm already scared for tomorrow.
I've personally learned that my menstrual is directly affected by how well or not so well the weeks are leading up to it. For example, high stress for weeks prior equals mild cramps, plus heavier and longer bleeding. Low stress usually means no cramps and short menstrual. It's rather strange.
What helps? Meditation, reading, minimal drama, eating right, etc.
How have the last few been for you?
Hello NotToday,
Sorry for the late response.
I've been off for a while.
Thank you for the responses.
Yes I agree that stress is likely the cause of the changes in menstrual cycle. It's just hard to tell how this came hard on me. As I've been more stressed in life in the past and none of this happened. And when all of this started, I was at the point of relaxing and having things fall in place for me.
I'm still struggling with it. I only get to enjoy one week in a month. And that's the week after my period.
Sad thing is I've had all hormonal tests done and they all came back normal.
I dont know what else to do. So I'm just living life as it comes.
Hoping that a miracle would happen some day and I'd be fine again.
I hope you're doing well!
Thanks again for the response and have a nice week.♥️
Well, my last menstrual wasnt bad, but this up coming one has my anxiety through the roof. I agree that there is a direct correlation with the amount of stress leading up to the menstrual. Im realizing that a month I was focused on meditating everyday less to an easy PMS free menstrual.
I truly believe that our bodies are so high strung and due to our busy society it's hard to find time to wind down. I'm hoping to try and get back into my yoga and see what happens.
Best.
I have been experiencing this as well, I am now on day 2 of my period and have had a migraine all day, as well as increased anxiety, upset stomach, nausea and feeling weak. I have also been so emotional and crying a lot. It’s awful but hopefully it will pass soon.
It’s completely normal for you to feel more anxious during PMS and during mentrusal cycle because of hormones. Most women anxiety disorder or not feel it. Ofcourse if you are on the disorder side you might feel it even more because you’re just more sensitized. I’m currently dealing with it now but I know what to expect by now, doesn’t bother me as much, as I’m also in the recovery stage of my issue. It’s fun being a woman 😑😑 Lol
As I go through another pms cycle, I'm finding it hard to concentrate. Heart palpitations are so nerve wracking. Ugh.
It’s just increased anxiety with is a good thing because we know there’s no serious underlying disease. Just continue to accept these as just anxiety and no real danger, and remind yourself it’s just hormones
