Resurfacing Memory

Several years ago, I had to stay in a hotel by myself for a week long class for college. It was a traumatic experience, as I had severe panic attacks. In a few weeks, I have to go stay with my aunt for a week to do something at the university for my masters program. Even though I know I won’t be staying alone and will be with her it is bringing up old memories of what happened several years ago and making me feel anxious and not myself. How have you been able to handle situations like this that bring up old memories?
