Hi so about a month ago I’ve gotten a headache, the headache feels more like pressure in the back , I started googling my symptoms online and now I am freaked out thinking it might be a tumor or Ms , I’ve also having some leg pain I went to the hospital the other day and they said I’m fine and did not want to give me a CT scan they say it’s risking yourself to expose if radiation when I don’t show many other symptoms. I’ve been feeling trembling in my head and I’m just feeling so unwell . I dont know if it’s just me being a hypochondriac or if something is really wrong I still feel pain in my. Leg and head

Hi steph24, unfortunately the worst thing is to google which only gives us more things

to worry about. It sounds like you might have a tension headache. Both anxiety and

worry will make the back of the head muscles tighten to the point of pain. The fact

the you went to the hospital and your issues don't warrant a CT scan is good news.

If they thought for a moment that there might be a problem, radiation exposure or not,

they would have ordered a test. The leg pain could be from anything which doesn't

necessarily mean something catastrophic.

I hate that word hypochondriac. It use to make me feel as if I were imagining my

symptoms. The symptoms are real, it's the thought that is false. Nothing is going to

happen if you wait and see where this leads to. See your GP if it continues but if you

have been diagnosed with Anxiety issues, it's more likely a therapist could help.

Believe me you are not alone in having head pressure and pain. xx

Hey there. About 8 years ago I woke up with a similar headache, which would creep forward through the day. I felt a bit unwell with it and just put it down to flu. The headache never went away. It’s like a pressure in my head and pain always starts at the back. I’ve has so many tests, brain scans and referrals and they’ve all come up with nothing!! One GP I have seen thinks I have severe tension headache, due to my anxiety and depression. I’m inclined to agree.

I know it’s worrying, but it sounds to me like you have the same thing as me. It’s always worth getting pain checked out, but I think you have the same thing I do. Xxx

You’re definitely not crazy! I truly believe that anxiety causes so many horrible physical effects, pain being one of them. But I think it’s so worrying when we don’t know what something is. Does your headache respond to any painkillers? Xx

Do you mean like your scalp is trembling? Like a creeping sensation all over you neck and scalp? If so, then that’s nerve pain and something I suffer with. X
