Not sure why I am writing this. I just don’t know what to do. My postpartum mood disorder has not been properly treated. Been having some symptoms since first child in 2015. Got really bad after birth of 2nd in 2017.
Anxiety and depression have taken me again. External factors have depleted my happiness as well. Then, the suicidal urges. As many of you know, this fight gets old fast. Meds are not working. Hope to find something that helps.
I wish you all a happy weekend. A million thanks for reading.

Sorry for the delay I just joined the site. I had postpartum with my daughter 30 years ago. At the time I couldn't seek treatment because I was in the military. This led to long term depression and anxiety. You are not alone and I really feel for you. Firstly - if you can -
Sleep. Exhaustion makes this situation 10 times worse. Being a mom is the hardest job you will ever have - without postpartum. Do you have a spouse who can help? If treatment is failing and you can - switch doctors or specialities. You probably need a psychiatrist or a therapist who specializes in this area (psychiatrists can get you meds). Just remember this is quite common and you are not alone. Chin up
