Has anyone else tried effexor? How does it work for you? Do you see results? Is there anything you do not like about it?

My therapist prescribed me this med after my 2nd PTSD diagnosis but it raised my blood pressure too high & put me in the hospital (I already have Hypertension) so I had to get off of it several months after starting it.

Best of luck ✨

But it worked great for my therapist personally 🙂

Seemed to work OK for me. Don't ever forget to refill unless you want to feel like you have the flu. And very hard to get off of, for the same reason, withdrawal is a pain. I would take antidepressants again if I needed to, but I would try something other than Effexor first, if possible.

Effexor.... was a rough one. Too many withdrawal symptoms within a FEW HOURS.... hard adjusting to with all the side effects.. but I’m very sensitive to medication. Hoping for a positive outcome for you.
