I am 32 now and have had it for about a year now, but I was also on it way back when I was 18. It helped to numb the past and made me care about it less. If it is not working they can raise the dose-I was always on a high dose. If it doesn't work like that, I recommend Zoloft. I have been on almost all there is out there and these two have been the absolute best! ; )

Ok thanks. I too had Zoloft but that didn't help and I was switched to Effexor which I've been on for a few years but I think I'm immune to it now Lol

I have been on it for years and nothing has come close to helping me so much. Everyone's chemistry is different though.......I also take 300 mg, which is the maximum dosage. I also take Vyvanse because I have difficulty focusing.
