I just wanted to check in and tell all of you that since i joined a week or two ago so much has gotten better. For those of you that have responded to me and became friends with me, thank you!
I have been able to drive around town ALONE and not have a panic attack. I was even able to substitute for a half day (I got my certification to substitute in December. This was my first time going thru with it.) I felt so good going and cant wait to do it this week coming up. I have also made 2 meals this weekend which is more than i have in weeks. I feel like I'm slowly getting back to my old self and I cant wait to see whats in store. Thank you all for your love and support and I will continue to check in here and support you as well.

I'm glad you are looking forward to the future instead of dreading it! You're taking the first few steps in the journey to getting your life back. Congratulations!
That’s amazing! So happy for you that your feeling a bit better and able to make these positive steps. Life’s tough, take the wins however small and cherish them. Hope you have a great day! 💜xx
Awesome! Inspiring! What has brought you to this wonderful place? Could use some direction. I completely understand each of us is different in our diagnosis and needs, but some things are general and each of us should be doing😊
Pearl67, honestly when I'm feeling low I get on this site and I write about it. I also read others and try to be there for them. The best advise I got so far was to chew gum while I take my babysteps back out into the open...(outside of my home.) For some reason, my mind isn't at a constant pace if I'm chewimg gum. It seriously helps.
I also wrote in my journal at home. I wrote "God, why have you given up on me" and i know this sounds crazy, but I heard a voice in my head that said "I have never given up on you, you have given up on yourself."
I was shocked, then cried a little and realised how true that really was.
One day at a time my sweet friend. We are all in this together. Message me anytime.
