Yea Right... Then They Always Tell Ya, " If You Don't Feel Better In A Few Weeks or/ It Gets Worse Come Back To See Me ".

Do Doctors Realize We PAY THEM To Find Out What Kinda VIRUS It Is ? Some VIRUSES Should NOT Be Ignored !* Many Of Them Will Write You Somekinda Inflammation or/ Mild Pain Pill & Send You Home !* [ simply so you won't feel you wasted your time and money by coming in. ] Plus Many Of Them "Know" You'll Be Back.

If You Hear " Well ? I Think You Got Somekinda Viral Thing Going On " ? 99% Of The Time That Means "BYE" !*

You Go In Feeling Like Crap & Leave Feeling Like Crap Wondering Why Did I Even Come Here ?

JUST FRUSTRATED !

I hear your frustration, my mom was an R.N., School nurse & from what she always said...a Dr. can do nothing for a virus..it needs to run its course..so how do you know? By going to the Dr., gotta laugh, huh? Feed a lot of fluid into your body. May you be well quickly! Love, light, peace, joy & hugs for you!

I Understand What You Are Saying. But What Kinda Virus Is It ? What If It's MONO ? There Are ALLOT Of Viruses Out There That Require Certain Ways & Actions For The Patient To Know, To Help Sway Certain Viruses In The Right Direction For Healing. If The Patient Don't Know What Kinda Virus They Have ? How Do They Know Whats Best For "That" Virus. Heck ? Mono Can Kill Ya If You Don't Know What's Best To Do & NOT To Do.

They don't find out what kind of virus it is unless it's causing serious symptoms, i.e. the patient needs to be hospitalized, because most insurance companies won't pay for the extremely expensive testing, and most patients arent willing to pay thousands of dollars out of pocket to be diagnosed with something untreatable. Most people don't realize this, but doctors can be sued by insurance companies for ordering tests that are deemed excessive. Watch"under our skin" and learn about the docs who lost their medical license for treating Lyme disease as a chronic condition.

Rthe symptoms may be uncomfortable, but serious viruses will cause serious symptoms, not just discomfort. My friend's son was diagnosed with mono after his doc palpated an enlarged spleen and then ordered blood work that showed problems with his immune system. They have to follow certain standards of care.

It's ridiculous. When something as basic as healthcare isn't accessible to more than half the population, there's a huge problem. I'm a nurse, and I myself and many of my coworkers don't have health insurance because we can't afford it. I worked at a place last year that charged $1400/month for insurance for myself and my 2 kids...almost half of my paycheck.
