Natural supplements for depression?

Has anyone taken any supplements to help their depression? I've read that vitamin d and other things like that MAY help. What has worked for you guys?

I take Viibryd and it does help me but that is medication and that works for me, won’t work for everyone, fish oil is also always great

Perhaps it may vary for each person. Since I'm vitamin D deficient, I felt that vitamin D was instrumental in dealing with my depressive symptoms. Another huge benefit I got was when I visited an experienced acupuncturist for my depression. Though maybe unpopular, I have to say I was impressed with the outcome and continue to make regular visits.

I take regular medication but i have done research on vitamins and take those too. I have low d and b12 so i take those. I take magnesium oxide. I’m about to restart omega 3. Those are the ones I’ve researched. I will say that I’ve taken some b vitamins that noticeably made my mood worse. I think it was b6 and b2. So, I wouldn’t add a bunch of vitamins all at once just in case you have a side effect to one.
