WHICH PILL ?? Klonopin OR Norco ?? Panic Attacks/ Anxiety “OR” Pain-Lumbar & Cervical & Trilingual Neuralgia

For years I have been on anxiety medicine along with pain medication. Now, with the new federal law...I’m having to choose between the two (2) invisible illnesses - I have always did the right thing & not try & trick the system & I always watched did the right thing & would even have extras left over each month. My primary doctor looks at them as two 2 separate illnesses...because you can have anxiety without pain or pain without anxiety or panic attack. But, now I’m having to choose one (1) and I’m Hoping Y’all Can Advise Me- I Know This is Just Opinions & No one is a Doctor...But I really could use some opinions/ advice... because I’m at a loss 🙏. •• I was on Norco for yrs (trilingual neuralgia, lumbar & cervical) & then I had an accident & it no longer helped at all. I know we all have to tolerate some pain daily, but this gets diabilitating. So 3 months ago Percocet & Tramadol were prescribed, (which I was somewhat able to function on), but now that has been replaced with Norco, & at a lower mg daily, which barely touches my pain. ••I have battled anxiety for yrs but w/ the help of Xanax I was able to cope. Off & on, I would have Panic Attacks But Then last November I began with severe Panic Attacks, like ER Visits, heart attack feelings (my life has been loaded with severe stress), I would even have Panic Attacks in my sleep. My dr prescribed Klonopin instead of Xanax- Miracle Drug for me. I am disabled due to pain & chronic depression,Prozac prescribed but y’all... not working was a big blow for me, because I always enjoyed work. BUT, NOW...I HAVE TO CHOOSE ONLY 1 MEDICINE— as they say Opioid or Benzo ! I just learned which is which. ANY OF YALL CHOSE PANIC/ANXIETY MEDICINE “Instead of” PAIN MEDICATION ???? I’m just looking for opinions I have no one else to ask 🙏😢

I've never heard of that? What state do you live in? I wouldn't see it as a problem as long as your doctor prescribed it? And you don't abusive it

Louisiana & 2 different facilities have told me this. I go today & have to make a choice- I choose pain meds cz it’s been sooo bad. Then I have read withdrawls from Klonopin & it doesn’t look too fun much less, the Panic Attacks themselves

Tough choices? I'm taking Mirtazapine for several months and so far no side effects

Have you heard of Cymbalta? It is an anxiety/depression med with some pain relieving qualities. Never hurts to ask your doc.

Yes I hv unfortunately nothing.

Prozac & gabapentin & i’m going to choose pain meds not anxiety medicine and goodness I have read about the withdrawls from my panic attack Med that it doesn’t sound like too good of days (like months....) & then on top of having my panic attacks. LIFE SUCKS !! & AS MY PRIMARY DR AGREED I HAVE 2 DIFFERENT INVISIBLE ILLNESSES!! 😢😢😢😢
