My former branch manager used me to do all his dirty works including doing his reports, cooking and doing his laundry and when he was retiring he teamed with the new management to sideline me and brought in his son. Now i am useless in the workplace. No one respects me, people laugh at me when I pass by. I feel empty. I cry almost every night and at times I wish 2moro never comes. Now i want to quite bit I cant becos i have loan to pay. I have no family. I walk alone. Maybe I should put myself to sleep forever then I will have nothing to worry about.

Feeling suicidal
I worked 19 years for an unappreciative, selfish employer. It consumed my life. I worked hard. I did not miss work. His employees did not matter. The more we gave the more he took.
I finally walked out earlier this year. I struggled with the decision for months.
I did go through a few rough weeks but have said, and will ssy to you, it was the best decision I ever made. I am so much happier...and mentally I am healthier.
If you take your life, they win. However, if you take OVER your life, you win.
I understand. I am here for you if you need to talk.
Thank you dear..
Please please please talk to someone. Call a family member, call a crisis hotline, go to your local emergency room for an evaluation. If it truly is the job that has you this way, there are options. My brother just told me about these people called recruiters and they will find you a new job and place you for free. They get paid by the company you end up working for after you're there for 90 days. A recruiter can also help you with a resume if you dont have one.
Thank you.. but my country is a mess. If you dnt have any powerful in your house. You wnt get a job. I tried searching for job but in exchange they request for sex and still fail you at the interview. Bcos they already have their candidates. Am tired and I have promised myself never to do that again. I dnt have any powerful to lead me get a job. Our employment system is highly political. So it means I have to start my own business. But I dnt have the capital for that. Africa is messed up
I have a friend who lives in Kenya. She says it can be hard there, too. I know not all of Africa is the same, though.
I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't even imagine what it must be like for you there. Having an advocate to talk to could be key. They could provide coping mechanisms that can help get your mind through the toughest parts of your day (or night).
