Having anxiety all day, this is all new to me this sucks. Starting a new job Wednesday with my brother who owns a construction company I’ve done construction all my life so hopefully working will help, I lost my job a month ago do to anxiety and panic attacks I think working with my brother will help. This feeling just drains all the energy out of me.

Do you take meds or meditate

I just started taking Escitalopram 10mg for about a week now. Not helping yet. My dr also gave me alprazolam ( Xanax) I take it a night so I can sleep. Hate this feeling cause I’m a good guy but I feel so helpless.

I also had overwhelming panic and anxiety and gave up a job. I started a new job a month ago and the first few weeks I was riddled with anxiety and convinced I would fail. I hung in there and took things day to day.

One day at a time, I’m trying.

You are still a good person. Anxiety doesn't make you a bad person.
